The Community Wellness Campaign (CWC) is a nonprofit organization built to address the health needs of local communities. The driving forces behind CWC are the personal experiences shared across the entire team which allow for a collaborative spirit and a strong commitment to improving community holistic health. Each team member has directly witnessed the unfortunate deficiencies in health awareness and education throughout their communities.

More often than not, people will only visit their doctor’s office when they are feeling sick. Many people don’t have time to look after themselves due to busy schedules, work commitments, and family responsibilities. Others cannot afford healthcare costs. Some simply don’t understand the importance of viewing health holistically, taking into account not only physical health but also mental, social, emotional, and spiritual health.

For these reasons, we have taken it upon ourselves at the CWC to promote healthy living through health awareness initiatives, wellness programs, and support services. Our team has extensive experience working with diverse cultures – from working with minority groups in the United States to those in rural communities in Jordan. We understand the significance of cultural understanding and the inherent strength and resilience of our communities – when given the right information and resources, our communities soar.

Our belief in the idea of supporting vulnerable communities (the elderly, women, children, indigenous people, refugees, minorities, rural communities, and people with disabilities) and seeing to their care and development is core to who we are as an organization. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to comprehensive health resources and the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life, regardless of socioeconomic status. Our central focus, therefore, is to integrate elements of holistic health, preventative care, education, and community engagement. This well-rounded approach to community health distinguishes our organization and helps guide our mission.
